MANAGEMENT
1313 Sherman St., Room 215
Denver, CO 80203 fivision of Reclamation,
Mining & Safety
Re: CAM Mining, LLC
Munger Canyon Mine
Technical Revision Application No. 28, Revise Permit Boundary
Permit No. C-1981-020
Dear Ms. Binns:
On behalf of CAM Mining, LLC, enclosed is an application for a technical revision to revise the permit
boundary to include a reclaimed road. This permit boundary revision will cause the Munger Canyon and
McClane Canyon permit boundaries to overlap. It is necessary to include this section of road in the
Munger permit because it was included in the Munger Canyon vegetative study and will therefore will be
eligible to achieve final bond release next year. Also, access to the Munger canyon mine site will cease
next year, so achieving final bond release of all properties is very important.
The reclamation bond for the road section is covered by the McClane Canyon Mine, so a bond increase is
not required.
The disturbed area boundary will increase by 3.25 acres.
The permit boundary will be updated on Figure 1.1-2. Nineteen other maps will require a sticker
(attached) to direct the user to Figure 1.1-2 where the correct permit boundary is shown. The stickers
will be supplied to OSM and BLM once the revision is approved.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Tamme Bishop, P.E.
Project Engineer
Enclosures:
Volume II: Figures 1.1-2
Figures requiring reference stickers: 2.2-1, 2.2-1A, 2.3-4, 2.3-5, 4.1-1, 4.2-2, 4.2-4, 4.3-1, 4.3-4, 4.3-5, 4.3-
6, 4.3-7, 4.3-8, 4.3-9, 4.3-10, 4.3-11, 4.4-1, 4.6-1, 4.8-2.
