Spot checks of
elevation and slope were made. Channels appeared to have an appropriate gradient. General observations
were made, it appears that the drainages meet the specifications in Trappers permit with respect to depth and
side slopes. As the earth is bare, some soil movement is expected and was noted in constructed channels in
parcel ZAB16 channels FA16 and AB16. Erosion control structures were noted in each channel, no
headcutting was observed and structures appeared to function adequately with the exception of:

Photo 4: Erosion in east branch of reconstructed drainage in parcel
ZAB16.

1. Reconstructed drainages, (east and west branches)

Map 1: Turquoise points show locations of erosion
problems illustrated in photo 4 and in other locations
in the reconstructed channels.
in parcel ZAB16 require repair work to establish additional stability in the longitudinal profile of ea ch channel. The
operator plans to work with DRMS to find the best mitigation of the issues illustrated in photo 4. The operator agreed
to carry out repairs by September 2017.

o Drainage way parcel FA16 (photos 6 and 7) lies in a requested phase II bond release parcel. Vegetation cover is
well established. Some rills were noted in the upper portion of the channel where small patches of bare soil existed.
Seeding having taken place in 2016 has yet to establish. (oid79/2)
