2. Gravel Operation <br /> The old 110 area that was absorbed into the 112 permit has been reclaimed. The gravel operation <br /> will then move to the north area where mining will occur until the end of the mine life. <br /> The worst-case reclamation scenario occurs at the end of mining. All portable plants, fuel tank <br /> areas, trailers and portable equipment will be removed. The large shop/office building near <br /> Access #1 will remain for commercial use after reclamation. Power poles and some roads will <br /> remain, as shown on Maps F-1 and F-2. As of 2016, the gravel mining areas are almost entirely <br /> reclaimed. Of 29.1 acres, 14.3 acres have been backfilled, topsoiled, and seeded.
