Keith Berger
Sept 10, 2017
Page 2
Will fuel be stored on site and/or will refueling be done on site?
No fuel will be stored on site. Refueling onsite is unlikely, but If refueling is done on site,
the fuel will be pumped from a barrel on a truck to the backhoe. There is almost no
spillage, with this procedure. If it occurs, it will be much less than a gallon. If spillage
should occur, our contingency plan is to shovel the diesel-soaked soil into the fueling
truck.
Where will the stockpiles be stored ?
The material produced by our trenching operation will not be "stockpiles," as that term is
commonly used and understood. The trenching product will be sample piles of
subsurface material, for examination, testing, and analysis. Shortly after that procedure
is completed, the remaining sample material will be placed back into the trench. The
sample piles will be built by the trenching backhoe, and will be not more than 30 feet
from the trench.
Identify the access to the work site.
Access to the work site will be by existing two-track road beginning at County Road 15 a
short distance north of the NE corner of Section 3.
Provide a reclamation cost estimate for the proposed operation.
As explained previously, the amount of trench excavation and related reclamation will
be dependent on the results of initial and subsequent excavation and testing, and the
cost of reclamation cannot be reasonably predicted at present.
Provide the time of beginning and ending your reclamation efforts.
Likewise, as explained previously, the timing of our reclamation will be dependent on
the timing of trench excavation, which cannot be precisely forecast at present.
Clarify any water mitigation plans and[/or]if you intend to use additional water for
operations.
Our planned exploration consists essentially of removing material by trenching and
replacing most or all of it back into the trench. As such, we anticipate no significant
effect to the ground water that might be encountered, and have, accordingly, planned
no mitigation measures.
We do not intend to use additional water for operations on site, except perhaps for small
washing/concentration tests of selected samples; we will provide such water, if needed,
from containers brought to the site.
Clarify if you plan to establish a trailer/RV site for longer than 14 days .
We may elect to establish such a site and retain it for the extent of the prospecting
program, but it won't be occupied for more than 14 days.
