September 12, 2017 C-1981-041/Roadside Portals JHB <br /> <br /> <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 3 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 1 <br /> <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br /> <br />Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) <br />Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br /> The remaining roads through the permit area were in adequate condition. <br /> <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br /> Activity is being conducted by other parties in the area previously bond released in SL10. Pipe is stored at <br />the gravel parking area for the shooting facility. It appears repairs are being conducted to a drainage outside of the <br />previous permit area at the Excel Energy ash disposal area. <br /> <br />Observation of the top of the RDA1 and the proximity to the remaining reclaimed area (light use road No. 1-Parcel <br />#30 on 2017 ARR map) was conducted. This assured the inspector that the pile of material (dirt) on the RDA1 <br />was not impinging on the remaining reclamation parcel. <br /> <br />REVEGETATION – Rule 4.15 <br />Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br /> The vegetation throughout the site was very dry. Other than the presence of Cheatgrass, noxious weed <br />species were not considered to be problematic. <br /> <br />SUBSIDENCE – Rule 4.20: <br /> The area approved for hydrologic repair with TR69 remains inactive. The operator has not implemented <br />the approved repairs due to legal action filed by the landowner. No unauthorized drilling has been conducted in <br />this area. No surface holes were encountered while walking in the area approved for re-disturbance. <br /> <br />Area overlying underground workings at the North Decline were walked. No surface expression of subsidence <br />features were observed. <br /> <br /> <br />DOCUMENTS RECEIVED NA <br />OTHER (SPECIFY) NA <br /> <br />ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS/COMPLIANCE <br /> <br />No enforcement actions were initiated as a result of this inspection, nor are any pending. <br />
