Site MK -1-082317 currently consists of two possible thermal features and
MK -2-082317 consists of seven possible thermal features. Tetra Tech recommended each site
as eligible for inclusion on the NRHP under Criterion D.
The Project will remove each site as part of the haul road construction and Colowyo cannot
modify the work to avoid either site. Therefore the project will cause an adverse effect to each
site. The presented HPTP is to ensure the work is in conformance with the process outlined in
36 CFR § 800 and Exhibit 5, Item 3 -Cultural Resource Protection Plan for the Collom Mine
Expansion and completed in a timely manner.
Tetra Tech August 31; 2017 17
