MR-15 was issued <br />on September 3, 2015. <br /> <br />MR-16 removed the coal stockpile limit of 10,000 tons. MR-17 was withdrawn on July 20, 2016. <br /> <br />MR-18 added a spring seeding window of April 1 to May 31 for the dryland pasture. MR-19 was issued <br />on May 18, 2017. <br /> <br />MR-20 extended the 180-day requirement for completion of backfill and grading, and updated the <br />reclamation timetable and air pollution control permit. MR-20 was issued on July 10, 2017. <br /> <br />Bond Releases <br /> <br />No bond release applications have been submitted for the New Horizon North Mine. <br /> <br />Description of the Environment <br /> <br />The NHN permit area encompasses a total of 328.7 acres in western Montrose County, three miles <br />northwest of the town of Nucla. The NHN facilities and operations areas occupy approximately <br />one-half square mile of land that is bounded by Montrose County Z Road on the North, AA Road <br />on the South, 26.50 Road on the East and 26.00 Road on the West.
