Miranda Blomquist of Seneca Property, LLC accompanied the inspection. The weather was cloudy and <br />the site was dry at the time of the inspection. The site is a surface mine currently in reclamation. No activities <br />were being conducted on the site at the time of the inspection and no permiting activities are on-going with the <br />Division. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, <br />4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water <br />Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Drainage – Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; <br />Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> <br />Pond 006 was stable, holding water, and discharging at the time of the inspection. Embankments were well <br />vegetated with no problems noted. The slump on the south side of the pond remains up and away from the pond at <br />the time of this inspection; however, this slump continues to be a hazard with slumped material approaching the <br />edge of the pond and the embankment. Please see the Slides and Other Damage topic in this report for more <br />information. <br /> <br />Pond 016 embankments were stable and well vegetated. The pond was not discharging at the time of the <br />inspection. No problems were noted with the primary or emergency spillways. <br /> <br />Pond 005 was holding water with nor discharge. The embankments were stable with no problems noted. Two salt <br />blocks are on the north end of the embankment. <br /> <br />Pond 017 was discharging clear water at the time of the inspection. The pond embankments were stable with no <br />problems noted to the primary and emergency spillways. <br /> <br />Stock Tanks observed throughout the site were holding water and stable. Permanent drainages were stable with no <br />problems noted.
