Once the cleanings have dried they will be spread and compacted. <br /> <br />Activity on Gob Pile #3 had pr ogressed s ince the June 2017 inspection. Material from the pile is being pulled <br />from the drying area and prepared to begin constructing the first lifts of the pile. The perimeter ditches were in <br />good repair and there were no off -site impacts. <br /> <br />ROADS – Rule 4.03 <br />Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3) <br />Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) <br />Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) <br />Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br /> The haul road consists of a paved portion and an unpaved portion. The paved portion of the haul road was <br />in good repair. There were no debris in the drainage channels along the road. The unpaved portion of the haul <br />road was well maintained. There were no ruts or areas with ponded water on them. The drainage ditches were <br />unobstructed and capable of functioning as designed. <br /> <br />The access road to the Utilities Bench was in good condition. There were no erosional issues. Drainage was being <br />conveyed properly to the diversion channels. The diversion channels were clear of debris and functioning as <br />designed. <br /> <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br /> The conveyors on the Bowie No. 2 m ine site are inactive. There is a segment running from the B Portal <br />Bench to the D Portal Bench and another segment running from the D Portal Bench down to the Wash Plant. The <br />hill slopes along the conveyor corridors are stable and well vegetated. There were no indications of instability. <br /> <br />The Utilities bench was stable and well kept. There were no off site impacts and runoff was being properly <br />conveyed to the diversion ditches. <br /> <br />The D Portal Bench was well maintained. The shop and fuel storage ar ea was organized. There were no erosional <br />issues and no off site impacts were observed. <br /> <br />The B Portal bench was stable with no erosional issues. The area was well organized and there were no off site <br />impacts. Runoff from the bench was being properly c onveyed to the diversion diches. <br /> <br /> <br />DOCUMENTS RECEIVED: None <br />OTHER (SPECIFY): None <br /> <br />
