The permits required to mine in Windsor have been obtained <br /> potentially prior to that as the original mine is from 1983. The operator has continued to <br /> mitigate weeds,and comply with City regulations. The area is zoned as general commercial <br /> and aggregate resource,therefore the land use is in line with the zoning as can been seen <br /> by the various mines surrounding the permit.
