Exhibit D (Cont) <br /> Mining Plan <br /> around the mined area and 2 . 10 acres of 3 : 1 slopes . The material <br /> will be used to supply construction material and pit run fill <br /> material to our clients . The primary land use at this time is a <br /> ru2-al residential , storage area and old mine area. The sand and <br /> gravel will be excavated using frontend loaders, excavators and <br /> dozers . Mining will be done by loading material into trucks or <br /> the processing plant with a frontend loader. The RECLAMATION MAP- F <br /> shows how the area will look when mining ends . On-site equipment <br /> may include, but is not limited to, a motor grader, front-end <br /> loader (s) , an excavator, a dozer (s) , conveyors, a screening <br /> plant , dump trucks and a water truck. No blasting will take <br /> place at this mine . <br /> Processing will be done on site to build material stockpiles <br /> that will be removed as needed. This will create large <br /> :stockpiles of specification aggregates on the site as mining <br /> progresses . Once there is an adequate supply, the processing <br /> plant will be moved to another site and the processed material <br /> will be removed as needed. The mine will operate year around <br /> with periods of inactivity when adverse weather conditions exist <br /> or there is no demand for material . No estimate can be made on <br /> how long these periods of inactivity will be, but some may last <br /> up to 6 months or more . <br /> The bond estimate presented on Page 26 shows the amount of <br /> lard that will be disturbed as a worse case scenario . As mining <br /> progresses we expect to have no more that 400 feet of working <br /> face that would need shaping at any-one-time . The exterior <br /> slopes will be graded 3h to 1v as mining progresses thru the <br /> deposit . The floor of the mine will be graded so it is level as <br /> shown on MAP EXHIBIT F . <br /> Little or no water will be used at the site . If dust <br /> control water is used, it will be obtained from sources Colorado <br /> Backhoe Service has available and approved for that use . <br /> Typically the mine operations in cycles . These cycles <br /> involve moving a crushing plant into a mine and beginning to <br /> process material until there is a six month to 1 year supply of <br /> rock stockpiled. Once an adequate supply is processed, the <br /> crusher and equipment are moved to another site . The stockpiles <br /> will be used throughout the year by the company. As mining ends <br /> on a section of the working face it is temporally graded to 2 : 1 <br /> so it is stable when there are no activities in the mine . Any <br /> resoiling and revegetation needed is completed when the area <br /> 10 <br />
