22 March, 2017 C-1981-010/Trapper Mine RAR <br /> <br /> <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 11 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 4 <br /> <br /> Page 5 of 11 <br /> <br />o Roads were being watered , ash and coal were being hauled. <br />o Access roads adequately maintained, providing accessibility to the site. All <br />areas of the site were accessible. <br /> <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES – Rule 4.04 <br /> <br /> Photo 3: Main office area, shop, warehouse, storage tanks and Industrial Waste Pond. <br /> <br />o Support facilities, <br />shop, warehouse, <br />ready line, waste <br />oil storage facility, <br />fuel depot and ash <br />disposal area were <br />visited. No issues <br />were noted at time <br />of inspection. <br />o A dozer was operating at the ash pit , where filter bags from the Cr aig station <br />had been disposed of. <br />o No low spots that held water were noted. <br />o A firm, smooth top surface was noted. From below the ash pit exhibited a <br />stable angle of repose and no fissures or slumping was observed in the face <br />at the time of inspection. <br /> <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge <br />Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water <br />Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Drainage- Acid and Toxic <br />Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18 <br /> <br />The pond systems observed included the East Flume, East Middle Flume, Middle Flume, Horse; <br />Oak Ponds, East Pyeatt, Johnson, No Name, the Industrial Waste Pond and Impoundment H. <br /> <br />Location: Pond Name 14 June 2017 Comments <br /> <br />W/DQ = Holding <br />water/Discharging Pond Maintenance Items in green <br /> <br />Horse W <br />West Horse W <br />West Flume W Banks appeared stable. <br />Middle Flume #1 W Banks appeared stable.
