This map unit is in capability unit 111 e <br />dryland, 11e irrigated, foothills swale range site'. <br />MAP UNIT: GD - HA - GLENDIVE-HAVRE COMPLEX, 0 TO 8 PERCENT SLOPES <br />This map unit is on nearly level to moderately sloping flood plains, valley <br />bottoms, and terraces. The slope is 0 to 8 percent. The native vegetation is mainly <br />greasewood-shrubland community. This unit is 60 percent Glendive loam, 30 percent <br />Havre loam, and about 10 percent Fruita fine sandy loam occurring randomly on the <br />landscape. <br />Typically, the surface layer of the Glendive soils a pale brown, platy loam about 5 <br />inches thick. The subsoil is a pale brown to light yellowish brown fine sandy loam about <br />5 inches thick.
