Appendix K and the above mentioned cultural resource surveys are under review by History <br />Colorado as per Rule 2.04.4 and 2.05.6 (4). Once DRMS receives conclusions from History <br />Colorado, their comments and the status of Appendix K will be shared with TMI. <br /> <br />Rule 2.04.5 General Hydrology Description <br /> <br />July 2017 DRMS <br />The review of this rule, an overview of the regional hydrology and geology, found the requirements <br />of Rule 2.04.5 met. This includes: a description of the regional geology in reference to the permit <br />area, a map in accordance with 2.10 providing regional hydrological features and drainage areas, <br />and an adequate characterization of surface and groundwater quality and quantity for this section. <br />Geologic characterization is primarily referred to Section 2.04.6 and hydrologic capability is <br />referred to Section 2.04.7 reviewed below. <br /> <br />DRMS notes that as per Table 2.7-12, the Deacon and Jeffway gulches were monitored in spring of <br />2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 as well as in fall of 2015 and 2016. DRMS notes that the <br />language of PR7 stating the continued monitoring of Deacon and Jeffway Gulches was removed in <br />PR8. <br /> <br />Page 2-451s discusses the water quality in the eastern expansion area. DRMS notes that TMI plans <br />continued monitoring of springs identified in the area, specifically Jeffway Spring at Co Road 33. <br />As per Appendix Q Section XXXI, unless springs discharge at the rate of 5 gallons per minute <br />(gpm,) or more, no sample is taken for analysis. <br /> <br />This rule is adequately addressed. <br /> <br />Rule 2.04.6 Geology Description
