This RCE will be completed once all adequacy items that may <br />include any changes to the proposed ponds are addressed. <br /> <br />Rule 2.05.5 Post Mining Land Use <br /> This aspect of the Rules is adequately addressed in the permit. <br /> <br />Rule 2.05.6 Mitigation of Impacts <br /> This aspect of the rules is adequately addressed. <br /> <br />Rule 2.10 Maps and Plans <br /> <br />July 2017 DRMS <br />Maps: <br />o M29, PR7 Permit Expansion Area Baseline Soils <br />o M48A, PR7 Permit Expansion Area Baseline Vegetation Map <br />o M45 Cultural Resources Surveys Conducted on and Adjacent to the Trapper Mine <br />o M51, Drainage and Sediment Control Plan <br />were reviewed for adequacy as per Rule 2.10. Please see the enclosed Map Document for meeting <br />the criteria of Rule 2.10. Submitted maps were adequate with the exception of: <br /> <br />Map 29A, with respect to Appendix D-VI Section 2.6: <br />22. Page 2-345d, states that 78 soil test pits locations are shown on Map 29A. The test pit <br />locations are not shown on the version of Map 29A that was submitted with the PR8 <br />application. Please update Map 29A to show the 78 soil test pit locations. (BQ1) <br />Map 45 appears adequate. <br />Map 48 with respect to Appendix D-VI <br />23. Map M48A, polygons outline the plant communities which are labeled accordingly. In <br />three areas, several plant communities are within a single polygon: <br />o the NE portion of the half-mile baseline area (MS, SB and GL), <br />o SE within the permit area (SB and GL) <br />o and SW within half-mile baseline area (MS and GL). <br />Please clarify the plant community associated with each polygon and update the acres for <br />each plant community as necessary. (BQ8) <br />24. On Map M48A, the legend shows that WT is the symbol for wetland plant community which <br />comprises 5.28 acres. The WT symbol is not shown on the map indicating the wetland area. <br />Please identify the wetland area on the map with the WT symbol. (BQ9) <br />25. Map M48A, symbols DI and WM label two polygons but are not described in the legend. <br />Please include these two symbols in the legend. (BQ10) <br />26. In the legend on Map 48A, there is a section labeled “plant community acreages within the <br />PR-7 mine pit disturbance area.” The mine pit disturbance area is not depicted on the map <br />which can be used to verify acreages.
