FORREST MINING PROJECT <br /> HARD ROCK/METAL MINING <br /> LIMITED IMPACT OPERATION ( 110 (2) ) <br /> RECLAMATION PERMIT APPLICATION <br /> 6.3.2 EXHIBIT B-SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> (Revised June 29, 2017) <br /> 6.3.2 (a) The operation site covers portions of four(4) mining claims and is located on <br /> burn scare lands of the June 2002 Hayman Fire. <br /> The site has open southerly exposure and is relatively dry.The soil is primarily <br /> decomposed Pikes Peak granite.The vegetation consists of sparse patches of low <br /> lying grasses, shrubs and occasional aspen sapling groves. <br /> The terrain is gradually sloping (6:1 or 17% average)to the south and southwest. <br /> The topographic variation is approximately 130 feet.The elevation range is from <br /> 8950 to 9080. <br /> 6.3.2 (b) There are no permanent man-made structures within two hundred (200)feet of <br /> the affected area except for the following: <br /> Forest Service Road 273 crosses the operation site. <br /> See attached Structure Agreement with the Forest Service. <br /> 6.3.2 (c) There are no water resources in the area of the proposed operation.The drain <br /> flow direction is to the south and southwest.The nearest stream that would <br /> receive drainage directly from the affected area is Crystal Creek, which is located <br /> 0.6 miles west. <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
