June 14, 2017 C-1981-018/Deserado Mine JDM <br /> <br /> <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 8 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 4 <br /> <br /> Page 4 of 8 <br /> <br /> Pond RP-1 Raw Water Lagoon <br /> Pond DP-1 Pond PP-2 <br /> <br />The D-Seam dewatering pond system #1 was stable and maintained at the time of the inspection. Water was <br />contained within six cells associated with the system. All cells were holding water at the time of the inspection. A <br />small amount of discharge was noted at the time of the inspection. No problems were noted. <br /> <br />The D-Seam dewatering pond system #2 ponds 5A, 3 and 4 of the Phase I construction have been completed, with <br />the exception of the discharge and flume of the finishing Pond 4. The ponds have been completed as designed with <br />the exception of slight modifications associated with Pond 5A. These modifications should be noted in as-built <br />designs. The modifications observed should not have an impact on the outflow design or a major deviation of the <br />holding capacity of the pond. <br /> <br />The SDH-3 site and process ponds were stable. Only the final of the three ponds is being used. No problems were <br />noted and a small amount of water was observed with no discharge noted. <br /> <br />OTHER (SPECIFY): <br /> <br />Prior to this inspection, on Sunday June 11th, 2017, a wildfire which came to be named the Dead Dog Fire was
