Extent of disturbance during inspection. <br />ROADS —Rule 4.03 <br />Pipeline construction. <br />Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3) <br />Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) <br />Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) <br />Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />Active construction of the Collom Haul Road was occurring during the inspection. The primary construction <br />activities were topsoil stripping and rock scaling. Water trucks were being used along the length of the <br />construction to ensure dust suppression. The extent of disturbance associated with the haul road was <br />approximately between Topsoil Pile 30B and 30A. <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br />The reclaimed Administration Building pad was inspected. Vegetation of the area has increased significantly since <br />the previous inspection. The minor rill noted in the previous inspection was still present but it was noticeably <br />begin to selfheal. No erosion additional erosion was observed within the pad area. <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS — Rule 4.02: <br />Mine identification sign was located at the entrance to the temporary facility area and County Road 32. All <br />information from compliance was present. <br />Disturbance markers were observed along the length of all activities within the Collom Haul Road and associated <br />facilities. All disturbance observed was within the approved boundary. <br />TOPSOIL —Rule 4.06 <br />Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; Redistribution 4.06.4: <br />Topsoil stripping and pile construction was actively occurring during the inspection. Topsoil in the area has been <br />in excess of approximately 300% to 400% of original estimates. Topsoil "islands" have been constructed to show <br />the depth of topsoil needed for removal. <br />Windrow 8 and Topsoil Pile 20 A have been fully constructed and were properly marked. Construction of <br />Windrow 7 and Topsoil Pile 20A were ongoing during the inspection. Both Windrow 7 and Pile 20A were marked <br />near the pile during topsoil placement. Containment berms were in constructed around Topsoil Pile 20A and 29A. <br />No issues were observed. <br />
