2. Name/Description of Water Rights Used for <br /> Augmentation: See Paragraph 8.2., Supra, which is <br /> incorporated here by reference. <br /> 3. Water Use and Depletions - All Hater withdrawn will <br /> be used for irrigation, stocK w3terina, fish and wildlife <br /> and fire protection. <br /> 4. Irrigation will be by a sprinkler systen. For the <br /> purpose of this plan, it is assumed that the irrigated crop <br /> will be alfalfa, whose rate of consurptfve use or irrigation <br /> water is the highest potential crop to be grown. It has <br /> been deterun;r ed that the average annual c:onsusptive use of <br /> irrigation water for alfalfa is 1.90 acre-feet per year and <br /> the average elficicncy rate of application is 70 percent for <br /> which 30 percent of the water applied returns to the Running <br /> Creek alluvial aquifer. <br /> COUCL ALONE-oLLt tl <br /> This Application was filed on Septe::ber 30, 1992. All <br /> notices required by law have been given of the Application and <br /> this Court has jurisdiction over the SUDject natter of the <br /> Application and over all persons affected thereby whether or not <br /> they have appeared. <br /> Two Statements of Opposition in this matter have b5en tirely <br /> file. the statements fil,:d are on behalf of (I) Central <br /> Coiorad� Water Conservancy District and Groundwater N.anage;nent <br /> subdistrict of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District, <br /> and (ii) Hal D. Sir-pson and Alan D. Perryran, State Er_gireer and <br /> Division Engineer, respectively, State of Colorado.
