This work in the ditch was part of the
installation of the pipe in the ditch. At the time of the inspection, there was no pipe present in the area. This work
is outside the current boundary of the Roadside Portals permit area.

RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3:
We inspected the 1.2 acre reclaimed Pond 11 area. Disturbance area markers were visible and agreed with
the limits shown on the map and the Division’s GPS unit (Panasonic toughpad). This area is quite flat and had
adequate vegetative cover. No erosional features were noted. Cheatgrass is present, but other vegetation has come
in well, and the site is not dominated by noxious species. There is a good diversity of plant species established in
this area. There were no concerns in this area.

The inspection progressed to the 0.6 acre reclaimed G substation area. CPW has graded a parking area adjacent to
the reclaimed substation and part of the road, as well as added crushed rock to make a parking lot for future
shooting facilities. No problems were identified with the reclaimed substation G. Vegetative cover was adequate.
Disturbance marker posts were present.

The last parcel visited was the 2.2 acre reclaimed area on the southwest portion of CRDA 1 and the reclaimed haul
road to this area. Vegetation has come in very well, with no erosional features on the steeper reclaimed road
portion. The reclaimed parcel on the top of the CRDA has very good vegetative cover with a good species
diversity. No issues were identified in this parcel. Disturbance area markers had been posted as appropriate.

The SL10 portion of the inspection concluded at this time.

SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04:
The Town of Palisade and Colorado Parks and Wildlife have posted informational signs and restricted
access signs in the areas that will be developed for the shooting facilities.

In spite of the restricted access signs, BLM wild horse tourists still drive up the roadways with signs stating no
access. Snowcap representative politely directed them to the appropriate public road.
DOCUMENTS RECEIVED NA
OTHER (SPECIFY) NA
ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS/COMPLIANCE

No enforcement actions were initiated as a result of this inspection, nor are any pending.
