Overall top sand piles appeared stable and <br />shaped to a stable grade with last years vegetation holding the soil. <br />o Vegetation is beginning to green. <br />o Overburden placement is progressing from south east to north west. <br /> <br />BACKFILL and GRADING – Rule 4.14 <br />o Overburden placement and leveling was taking place at time of inspection. <br />o Backfilled B Pit area appeared stable with no slumping, depressions or cracks. <br /> <br />Photo 1: Grader smoothing overburden for placement of next lift. <br /> <br />REVEGETATION - Rule 4.15 Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br />o The vegetative cover on sand stockpiles, pond slopes and reclaimed areas appeared stable. <br />o Vegetation was beginning to green throughout the site. <br />o No evidence of surface runoff was observed and no offsite impacts were evident at time of inspection. <br /> <br />AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION - Rule 4.17 <br />o No fugitive dust was apparent across the site at time of inspection.
