3.7 Revegetation —Seed Mix Augmentation
Following erosion and drainage repair activities, areas were reseeded using the currently-approved seed
mix(50 pounds per acre application):

Seed mixture usage in 2016 included seeding of approximately 'h acre at the access road where repairs to
the steep embankment were made following sluffing,and seeding of approximately 3 acres following repairs
of the tension cracks on the east wall of the South Mine area.
HMC submitted a technical revision application to DRMS on March 24 2017, which included a request to
revise the seed mixture/varieties approved for use in site revegetation to include the three additional seed
mixes proposed below.
