The mine is a reclaimed underground coal <br />mine. No personnel remain on site. The access to the reclaimed portal has been reclaimed. The weather was clear <br />and dry at the time of the inspection. <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS — Rule 5.02.4(1): <br />Records are kept at the office of J.E. Stover and Associates. Records were checked at this location prior to <br />inspection at the reclaimed mine site. No problems were identified with maintenance of the records. <br />EXCESS SPOIL and DEVELOPMENT WASTE — Rule 4.09 <br />Placement; Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization: <br />The excess material pile is well vegetated. The surface was left rough. No erosional features were <br />observed on this pile. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Diversions 4.05.4; Drainage — Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8;; Stream <br />Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />There are no ponds on the reclaimed site. Runoff is controlled by surface roughening, vegetation <br />establishment, and limited ditches. Culverts have been removed from the roadway. No erosional gullies or other <br />features were observed on the reclaimed areas or on the roadway during this inspection. <br />Permanent drainages across the reclaimed road remain in good condition with no signs of undercutting or side <br />cutting. <br />ROADS — Rule 4.03 <br />Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) <br />Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />The access road to the bottom of the reclaimed haul road was dry and drivable.
