22 March, 2017 C-1981-010/Trapper Mine RAR <br /> <br /> <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 7 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2 <br /> <br /> Page 3 of 12 <br /> <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS Rule 4.02 <br /> <br />o Topsoil stockpiles observed throughout the site were clearly marked with identifying signs. <br /> <br /> <br />Photo 1 <br /> <br />o Permit boundary markers observed throughout <br />the site were correctly located and in good <br />repair. <br /> <br />o The mine site identification sign inside the <br />entrance to the facilities from CO 13 South <br />was intact, displaying all required <br />information: mine name, operator name, <br />address, phone number, DRMS permit <br />number and contact information. <br /> <br />o Blasting notification signs were placed <br />according to rule 4.02.6 <br />Photo 1 shows the mine identification sign and the sign <br />warning of blasting at the mine. These signs are located at <br />the east edge of permit along Knez divide road. <br /> <br />ROADS- Rule 4.03 <br />Construction 4.03.1(3) I 4.03.2(3); Drainage 4.03.1(4) I 4.03.2(4); Surfacing and <br />Maintenance 4.03.1(5) and (6) I 4.03.2(5) and (6); Reclamation 4.03.1(7) I 4.03.2(7) <br /> <br />o Main haul roads in and around the site were clear of snow, appearing stable <br />and adequately maintained. <br />o Roads were being watered , ash and coal were being hauled. <br />o Access roads were free of snow providing accessibility to most of the site <br />with the exceptions of steep areas where snowmelt had left the roads too s oft <br />and muddy for travel. Specifically, Horse Gulch and associated fill <br />remained inaccessible. <br /> <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES – Rule 4.04 <br /> <br /> <br /> Photo 2: Waste oil storage depot. <br /> <br />o Support facilities, <br />ready line, waste <br />oil storage <br />facility and fuel <br />depot were <br />visited and no <br />issues noted at <br />time of <br />inspection. <br /> <br /> <br />
