Danny Kipp was present during the
inspection. Skies were cloudy and temperatures reached the low 50 degrees F. No earth moving was going on
due to recent rains, leaving the soil too soft for cutting and filling operations. Dugout and Sediment Pond #2 held
small amounts of water.
INSPECTION:
SIGNS AND MARKERS Rule 4.02
o The mine site identification sign inside the entrance to the facilities from County Road 59 was intact,
displaying all required information: mine name, operator name, address, phone number, DRMS
permit number and contact information.
o Permit boundary signs appeared intact.
o Topsand stockpiles observed were clearly marked with identifying signs.

ROADS Rule 4.03
Construction 4.03.1(3), 4.03.2(3); Drainage 4.03.1(4), 4.03.2(4); Surfacing and
Maintenance 4.03.1(5) and (6) 4.03.2(5) and (6).
o
o Roads in and around the facilities were in good condition and appeared to function adequately.
o Due to recent rains roads were soft and there was occasional standing water in low spots.
