Inc. I am providing the following information is to provide address the corrective actions section of your January 12, 2017 Inspection Report. The sign was posted just after the first of February 2017, at the gate near the public road and on the scale house near the mine entrance. Photos are enclosed showing the signs. On Monday March 13, 2017 I was able to locate and place iron rebar markers on the existing permit corners from the northeast corner across the north line and along the west side. I then collected the north and south edges of the safety berm/topsoil pile (dirt pile). I also collected the water edge around the pond to check the distance from the permit line. I note here that the north side of the excavated area has not change from what was there when the permit was amended in 2012. I then transferred this data into an Acad file to make it easier to work with and label. The attached map show the current permit line (green), the 25 -foot setback (orange,) the dirt pile (brown cross hatched) and the water edge (blue). The red line is the location of where the permit boundary will be moved under an amendment. We were not able to access the south line since the water way was too deep to cross. These corners are fence posts that have been in place for some time and were not changed.
