Frank Ferris and Tom Fry of Elk Ridge Mining and Reclamation (ERMR) were <br />present for the entire inspection. The weather conditions were overcast and cool. The temperature was <br />approximately 40F and the ground was dry. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; <br />Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br />Drainage – Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> The spillway structure on the NW section of the Morgan property was in good condition (photo 1). The <br />waddles on the west property line were in good condition. The rock wall around the county culvert was in good <br />condition (photo 2). The waddles on the Morgan property along the BB Road were in good condition. <br /> <br />Pond 007 contained water but was not discharging. There were several dozen mallard ducks on the north part of <br />the pond. <br /> <br />Pond 9 did not contain water. <br /> <br />Pond 12 contained water but was not discharging (photo 3). <br /> <br />Pond 13 contained water and was discharging. The trench drain was also discharging water. The small pool area <br />above the flume has been repaired. A small tub has been installed to slow the water velocity coming out of the <br />trench drain pipe (photo 4) and the rubber lining has been replaced with a layer of rocks on top to hold it in place. <br /> <br />Pond 15 did not contain water. <br /> <br />Pond 16 was measured with the ERMR GPS unit to verify elevations and slopes.
