This form is copied from the <br />USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, National Range & Pasture <br />Handbook 1997. This worksheet serves as a guide for the irrigated pasture <br />sections of the permit for grazing and gives a general idea of what forage is <br />available. The properties are reviewed while grazing activities are in progress. <br />During the grazing operation a visual determination is then made with the bovine <br />owner, farm contractor, and New Horizon mine personnel to make sure the <br />properties are being grazed for maximum efficiency while minimizing damage to <br />the fields. The above referenced areas are depicted in Map 4. Approximately 256 <br />acres were grazed within reclaimed lands within the New Horizon permit <br />boundary. <br />b. Irrigation <br />The CC Ditch Company commenced water deliveries on April 18, 2016. <br />New Horizon Mine began irrigation operations April 20, 2016. Water <br />availability varied from 70-110 percent over the course of the year. The <br />CC Ditch Company discontinued water delivery October 12, 2016. <br />c.
