Conservation Practice Factor P <br />This factor quantifies conservation practices employed at Colowyo. A default value of 1.0 was used <br />for Pre -Mining conditions. Contouring was entered into RUSLE 1.06c to account for reclamation <br />practices, this yielded a P -factor of 0.3 for Post -Mining conditions. <br />Results <br />Table 3 presents the predicted soil loss in tons/acre/year for two representative slopes from the <br />Phase II Bond Release Block for pre -mining and post -mining evaluations. The pre -mining representative <br />slopes exhibited 0.175, 0.170, 0.148, and 0.196 tons/acre/year of predicted soil loss, respectively.
