Beginning in mid-February CC&V staff undertook the following:
• Coordinated a field meeting between Bryan Kincaid(Teller County Right-Of-Way Manager) and
HDR Engineering Robert Manzanares (Project Manager) and Cory Beasley(Project Engineer) to
discuss execution of the work required. The meeting was postponed due to weather (snow build
up)preventing inspection.
• Bryan stated work should not and will not be able to commence until the ground thaws in early to
mid-June.
• Bryan advised a Right-Of-Way (ROW) Use Permit is required prior to work being started.
Additionally, a contractor that has proper licensing must be hired to complete the work in order
for the ROW Use Permit to be issued by Teller County.
• A Right-Of-Way Use Permit application was obtained by CC&V (planned submission to Teller
County is March 23,2017, approval from Teller County expected March 29, 2017)
• A scope of work has been completed by HDR and reviewed by CC&V staff
Based on work completed to-date and the presence of frozen ground conditions of the proposed work
area,CC&V request an extension to completing this work to June 30, 2017.
2. Hydrologic Evaluation,Item#6(Numeric Protection Levels report)
Due to an unexpected temporary staffing issue, CC&V also requests an extension for Appendix 2-
Hydrologic Evaluation, Item#6 (Numeric Protection Levels report) from March 28, 2017 to May 25,
2017.
