u
Mr. Brock Bowles
March 7, 2017
Page 2
This issue has been corrected and a Section 2.04.7 has been resubmitted with
corrected pagination.
4. Pages 30-33 comprise various tables. Please consider page layout such that each
table is displayed in its entirety on a single page.
Response: The tables as provided on pages 2.04.7-30 through 2.04.7-32 are not
easily provided as the Division has requested. Therefore, no changes have been
made in response to this comment.
5. Laboratoryparameters are proposed to be changed from quarterly (February, May,
August, and November) to annually, during the second quarter but no explanation
was given to support this change. Please provide a discussion and data justifying the
reduction in ground water monitoring frequency.
Response: The groundwater monitoring plan has been revised to include collection
of quarterly laboratory parameters.
6. It is proposed that monthly water levels no longer be collected but no explanation
was given to support this change. Please provide a discussion and data justifying
why water levels should not be collected and reported
Response: As proposed under TR -75 quarterly water levels are more than adequate
to contribute additional data to an already extensive data set for the long term
monitoring plan for water levels. This change also allows for alignment with the
quarterly sampling that is conducted by New Horizon at all groundwater monitoring
locations.
7. The proposed suite of laboratory analysis no longer includes the following: alkalinity,
dissolved aluminum, dissolved carbonate, dissolved chloride, nitrogen as nitrate,
nitrogen as nitrite, total recoverable iron, dissolved lead, dissolved molybdenum,
potassium, sodium, and cation/anion balance. Please provide a discussion and data
justifying why the above listed parameters should no longer be monitored and reported.
Response: The groundwater monitoring plan has been updated to include these
parameters.
AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY / AFFIRMATIVE ACTION EMPLOYER
A Touchstone EnerWCooperative
