Answered below. <br /> 10. The mining operation will consist of open pit gravel extraction and processing that will <br /> be an intermittent operation of less than 180 days per year. <br /> 11 -12. The plan of operations will be to strip and stockpile topsoil for reclamation use. The <br /> topsoil will be stripped four inches deep or to the maximum depth available to be <br /> stockpiled around the mining permitted area on the sides of permitted area within the <br /> 15 -20 foot buffer area from adjacent property fence line around the mining operations. <br /> Topsoil stockpiles will be reseeded with approved seed mix to control erosion and weed <br /> infestation. The gravel will then be excavated and processed. The mining continue to <br /> proceed in a westerly direction. The depth of the excavation will be approximately 15 <br /> feet unless ground water level if ground water is encountered. If ground water is <br /> encountered the depth will be adjusted to mine above the ground water levels. <br /> 13. Grade of slopes mining operations will be no less than 3:1 to the extent possible. <br /> 14-15. Mining operations will be phased to allow for 20+/-acres at any given time to be open <br /> at one time to provide stockpile areas, crusher staging area, batch plant staging areas <br /> and roadways. Reclamation will occur simultaneously when mining proceeds to past the <br /> 20+/- acres open to the extent possible. <br /> 16. The mining equipment will consist of a portable crushing plant, conveyors, screening <br /> plant, grizzley, loaders, and dozers. <br />
