It is up to the <br />property owner to provide evidence to document that this is the case. <br />• The current ECP zone district allows by a'Special Review Use Permit' (SRU) for "Mining and <br />mining related uses includin mining heritage uses such as a Mining museum which <br />preserve the community's mining heritage, may be permitted if they are not a threat to <br />Public health and safety and do not adversely impactsurrounding land uses". An SRU <br />Permit application is necessary to submit to staff and staff will need to process it thru the <br />typical review process and take the application and a staff report before the Board of <br />Aldermen for a final review and decision during a public hearing.
