D. Unauthorized excavation: Removing materials beyond indicated subgrade elevations or <br />dimensions without direction by the Engineer. <br />E. Structures: Footings, foundations, walls, slabs, and mechanical appurtenances, or other <br />man-made stationary features constructed above or below ground surface. <br />F. Utilities: On-site underground pipes, conduits, ducts, and cables, as well as underground <br />services within the lines of the Work. <br />G. Coverages: The number of coverages is equal to the number of compaction equipment <br />passes over the area to be compacted times the number of in-line rollers on the <br />equipment. A pass is the one -directional travel of the equipment over the area to be <br />compacted. A round trip is equal to two passes. <br />1.4 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Submit under the provisions of Section 01300. <br />B.
