Natural Soda LLC 2016 Project Status Report & Annual Plan of Development <br /> ' Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE) <br /> • In May 2015 NS received Construction Permit #15RB0259 from the Colorado <br /> Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE) which permitted a new low- <br /> NOx boiler. A minor modification to this permit was received in early 2016. <br /> ' Rio Blanco County (RBC) <br /> • Special Use Permit 12-04 Notice 15-27 was issued to NS for the 15H, 16H, and <br /> ' 17H well pairs. <br /> • Special Use Pipeline Permit 15-27 was issued to extend NS pipeline to the <br /> 15H pad. <br /> ' • Temporary living quarters were approved for use for the drilling and completion of <br /> 15H production well pair. <br /> 3.2 Proposed 2017 Activities and Schedule (Confidential) <br /> ' 3.2.1 Processing (Confidential) <br /> NS anticipates increased production in 2017. Brief shut-downs for periodic boil-outs <br /> and routine maintenance are planned in 2017. <br /> 3.2.2 Well field (Confidential) <br /> • NS anticipates limited production from the DVPW in 2017. <br /> The 16H production well pair is planned to be drilled, completed, and begin <br /> production in 2017. <br /> • NS plans to convert the O-GMW-A into a Water Supply Well (WSW-5). A <br /> pipeline from the WSW-5 to the plant will also be constructed. <br /> • NS anticipates conducting the 2017 Nahcolite Resource Drilling Program (RDP). <br /> This program will potentially drill up to 10 core/rotary holes to further define the <br /> ' thickness and areal extent of the Boies Bed nahcolite and other saline mineral <br /> intervals in the Parachute Creek Member of the Green River Formation. Certain <br /> core holes in the 2017 RDP may be converted to subsidence and/or groundwater <br /> monitor wells. <br /> • NS anticipates conducting a 2017 Plugging and Abandonment Program. This <br /> program is planned to permit and P&A the following wells: BG-8, MMC-IRI-2, <br /> ' MMC-IRI-5, MMC-IRI-9, MMC-IRI-10, 7H-21, 7H-1 R, 7H-1 V, 11 H-1, and 11 H-R. <br /> • The 11 H-1 and R well pair and mining interval will be retired in February 2017. <br /> i <br /> 1 <br /> 1 <br /> ' DAUB&ASSOCIATES.
