January 11, 2017 C-1981-010/Trapper Mine RAR <br /> <br /> <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 5 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2 <br /> <br /> Page 3 of 6 <br /> <br />Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Drainage- Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments <br />4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> <br /> Observed ponds at No Name, Johnson, Pyeatt, Grouse, Sage, Oak and Middle Flume <br />drainages. Most were viewed from a distance as roads to the ponds were impassable. The <br />ponds observed were frozen and appeared to be functioning correctly. <br /> Photo 1: West Pyeatt Pond #1. <br /> <br /> Discharge associated with a spring was observed at East Pyeatt Pond 3#. <br /> <br /> Photo 2: East Pyeatt Pond #3. <br /> <br /> <br />Photo 3: Flume at East Pyeatt Pond #3. <br /> <br /> <br /> Flumes observed appeared to be functioning correctly. <br /> Grouse and Sage Ponds are Phase III bond release so, are no longer monitored for water <br />quality. <br />
