<br />Blast area <br /> <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; <br />Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br />Drainage – Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9 ; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />Prospect, Gulch A and Streeter Pond were inspected. Access to the ponds were limited due to adverse conditions <br />along the highway. Due to safety issues, the ponds were inspected from the highway. All ponds were snow <br />covered and frozen over. Due to snow cover, the Division was unable to determine if the ponds were discharging <br />at the time of the inspection. The embankments appeared stable with no issues observed. <br /> <br />The Work Area and Wash Bay Ponds were inspected. Each pond was frozen over but water levels were visibly <br />below the primary discharge points. Embankments were snow covered but no issues were observed. <br /> <br />Gossard Pond and Loop Pond were inspected. Both ponds are located at the Gossard loadout area. Gossard and <br />Loop Pone both held water with no discharge. Embankments of the ponds were visible and stable. Primary <br />discharge points of both ponds were in working order with no issues observed. <br /> <br />Loop Pond. <br /> <br />
