Reilley <br />Date: February 2017 <br /> <br />The permit adequately addresses this section of the rules. <br /> <br />Rule: 4.05.6 Sediment Ponds <br /> <br />This is a review of rules 4.05.6(1-7) associated with sediment pond design, construction and maintenance. <br /> Sediment Pond designs are found in Permit Section 2.05.3(4), Appendices 2.05.3(4)-1 through -8 and include <br />SEDCAD model results, and associated maps; 2.05.3(4)-6, 7, 9, 10 and, 11. <br /> Ponds are designed to provide storage for a 10 year 24 hour event and have primary and emergency spillways. <br />This section of the rules is adequately addressed. <br /> <br />Rule: 4.05.7 Discharge Structures <br /> <br />This is a review of rules 4.05.7 associated with discharge from sediment control structures and other treatment <br />facilities. <br /> <br />Permit Appendices 2.05.3(3)-1, 2.05.3(4), 2.05.3(4)-1, 2.05.3(4)-2, 2.05.3(4)-6, 2.05.3(4)-7, 2.05.3(4)-8, <br />2.05.3(4)-9and 2.05.3(4)-10, associated figures and tables, discuss the as built designs and present the SEDCAD <br />model results for, ponds and ditches. <br /> <br />Ditches and ponds are designed to safely pass the flows from a 10 year 24 hour event as per this rule. <br /> <br />This section of the rules is adequately addressed in the permit. <br /> <br />Rule: 4.05.9 Impoundments (1-17) <br /> <br />This is a review of rules 4.05.9(1-17) associated with design, construction and maintenance of impoundments. <br /> <br />Sediment ponds are meant to temporarily impound water in order to meet State and Federal effluent standards <br />before discharge. <br /> <br />Ditches and ponds are designed to safely pass the flows from a 10 year 24 hour event as per this <br />rule.Impoundment inspections and certifications are current and available. <br /> <br />This section of the rules is adequately addressed in the permit. <br /> <br />4.17 Air Resource Protection <br /> <br />The Permit adequately addresses this rule.
