Reilley <br />Date: February 2017 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />2.04.7 Hydrology Description <br /> <br />This is a review of the permit requirements for describing and monitoring surface water characteristics. <br /> The permit as per section 2.04.7 (Hydrology Description), Appendix 2.04.7-2 (Water Quality Monitoring Data) <br />and associated Map 2.04.7-1, adequately addresses this section of the rules. <br /> <br />2.04.8 Baseline Climatological Information <br /> <br />Permit section 2.04.8 presents climate information. <br />This section of the rules is adequately addressed in the permit. <br /> <br />2.05.3 (4) a-d Operations Plan - Permit Area <br /> <br />This section of the rules is adequately addressed in the permit. <br /> <br />2.05.4 Reclamation Plan <br /> Permit section 2.05.4 (Reclamation Plan) adequately addresses this rule. <br /> <br /> <br />2.05.6 Protection of Hydrologic Balance, Mitigation of Impacts <br /> The permit as per sections 2.04.5, 2.04.7 (Hydrology Description), Appendix 2.04.7-2 (Water Quality Monitoring <br />Data) and associated maps 2.04.5-1, and 2.04.7-1, section 2.05.6(1) and section 2.05.6(3) (Protection of <br />Hydrologic Balance) adequately addresses this rule. <br /> <br />Rule 4.05.1 Hydrologic Balance: General Requirements 1-4 <br /> <br />The permit as per section 2.05.6 adequately addresses this rule 4.05.1(1-4). <br /> <br />Rule 4.05.2 Water Quality and Effluent Standards <br /> <br />This is a review of Rule: 4.05.2(1 -8); Conducting activities to minimize and prevent disturbance to the prevailing <br />hydrologic balance. <br /> <br />Review of Permit Section 2.05.6(3) (Protection of the Hydrologic Balance) and Appendix 2.05.6(3)-3 indicates <br />that NHN has established drainage systems, including sediment ponds, to meet the applicable State and Federal <br />water quality requirements for, downstream receiving waters. No alluvial valley floors have been identified at the <br />site. <br /> <br />The requirements of Rule 4.05.2 are adequately addressed. <br /> <br />Rule 4.05.3 Diversion and Overland Flow in Small Watersheds <br /> This is a review of rules 4.05.3(1-7) associated with diversion location, design, construction and reclamation. <br /> <br />This section of the rules is adequately addressed in the permit. <br /> <br />Rule: 4.05.5 (1-2) Sediment Control Measures <br /> <br />This is a review of rules 4.05.5(1-2) associated with design, construction and maintenance of sediment control <br />systems. The sediment control plan is presented in section 2.05.3(4) of the permit. <br />
