This spring
is located south of the SOD mine panels area. The source of this spring appears to issue from
colluvium. Flow is typically less than 0.5 gallons per minute and does not show strong seasonal
variation. This spring has been monitored since 2006.
4.2.3.5 Spring J-7
Spring J-7 is located in Poison Gulch which is tributary to Dry Fork (Plate 1). It is within the
SOD mine panels area. The source of this spring appears to issue from alluvium. This spring is
seasonal and flow only occurs during peak flow conditions. Spring J-7 has been monitored since
2006.
4.2.3.6 Spring J-10
Spring J-10 is located on the south side of the Dry Fork stream adjacent to the Minnesota
Reservoir flume (Plate 1). This spring is located west of the SOD mine panels area. The source
of this spring appears to issue from alluvium. This spring appears to be perennially wet, but flow
does not exceed a trickle. This spring has been monitored since 2012.
Revised 09/07- PR12; 08/16- TR139 HydroGeo, Inc
