The <br />last update provided by the CPW was in a letter dated March 27, 2015 and located in Appendix 2.05.6(2)- <br />1. Per Rules 2.04.11(4) and 2.05.6(2), please update T&E species and discuss potential impacts to current <br />State and Federal Threatened and Endangered plant and animal species lists. The Federal and State <br />listed species of concern may have changed since the last revision or the issuance of permit. <br /> <br />Rule 4.18 – Section 2.05.6(2) includes a mitigation plan to the impact of mining on Burrowing Owls and <br />identifies additional impacts to other species and wetlands. Depending on the response to the above <br />mentioned adequacy comment associated with Rule 2.04.11 and 2.05.6(2), additional mitigation measures <br />may be required. IF the T&E species list has changed, please provide an updated mitigation plan to <br />address the protection of fish and wildlife. <br /> <br />2017 Midterm RCE - Attached is the reclamation cost estimate for the New Horizon North Mine Permit <br />Renewal No. 1. The Division updated the reclamation cost estimate with costs updated in June, 2016 to <br />reflect 2016 CRG, Means and CDOT rates. This updated estimate total is $5,005,755.14. This estimate <br />includes reclamation tasks identified in the permit and includes costs for Permit Revision No. 1, which <br />reflect the only revision that included an increase in liability since the estimate was last updated with the <br />2014 Midterm Review. This 2017 Midterm Review revised cost estimate is $494,244.86 less than the <br />current bond held of $5,500,000.00. <br /> <br />The Division updated tasks 011, 020, 062, 085, and 095 to reflect PR-1 and replaced tasks 012, 013, 021, <br />022, 063, 064, 084, and 086 to reflect the change in roads approved in PR-1. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
