Gob Piles #2 and #4 have been <br />keyed together. The access road on pile #2 is generally in good condition. There was one portion of the cut slope <br />in the gob material that has shifted. This was likely due to the recent precipitation followed by snowfall. This <br />section will be repaired when conditions allow. The top of pile #2 had water ponded on the top of it, please see <br />the Hydrologic Balance section for more details. Pile #4 was stable and no issues were noted. <br /> <br />ROADS – Rule 4.03 <br />Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3) <br />Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) <br />Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) <br />Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br /> The Haul Road at the Bowie No. 2 Mine is a paved road that reaches from the D Portal Bench and the <br />Mine Office to the Preparation Plant and Coal Stockpile areas. The road was plowed and in good condition. The <br />ditches were partially snow covered and functioning as designed. The access roads above the Utility Bench were <br />inaccessible due to snow. The haul road from the Preparation Plant to the #2 and #4 gob piles was in good <br />condition.
