Note that the Phase III BRB PSCM-2 reclaimed unit required adjustment for annual composition only in 2014 while for the reference areas, only the mountain brush required adjustment in 2012. This provides additional demonstration that the reclaimed areas are well established. 2012 Herbaceous Production Success Evaluation The 2012 herbaceous production values for the mountain brush and sagebrush reference areas are summarized in Table 4 above. Calculation of 90 percent of the production performance standard appropriate for 2012 sampling is demonstrated below. Mountain brush reference area allowable herbaceous production = 214.5 lbs/acre Sagebrush reference area allowable herbaceous production = 456.8 lbs/acre 90 percent of the Production Standard = 0.90 [0.83(214.5) + 0.17(456.8)] = 230.1 lbs/acre The 2012 BRB PSCM-2 mean allowable herbaceous production of 847.6 pounds per acre (Table 3) exceeds 90 percent of the production performance standard. Average annual and biennial production sampled in BRB PSCM-2 was not greater than 10 percent of total herbaceous production and therefore no "excess" annual/biennial production deduction was used in 2012.
