CRIPPLE CREEK & VICTOR GOLD MINE <br />NEWMONT MINING CO. <br />SQUAW GULCH VLF WEEKLY REPORT <br />Owner:Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mining Co.Project Number:74201125N0 <br />Project:Squaw Gulch Valley Leach Fill (VLF)Week Ending:February 13, 2016 <br />Location:Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mine, CO <br />Contractor:Ames Construction, Inc. <br />Reporting Period:02.07.2016 through 02.13.2016 <br />Ambient Temperature Ranges During Week Weather Conditions During Week: <br />Highs:21°F to 33°F Cloud Cover:Partly Cloudy to Mostly Cloudy <br />Lows:41°F to 48°F Precipitation:None <br />Wind:Moderate to strong <br />Ames:Continuing construction tasks for the Valley Leach Facility (VLF). <br />Planning:Continuing construction activities and scheduling for the VLF. <br />CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES AND PROGRESS: <br />I)Earthworks <br />**Amec Foster Wheeler field professional monitored fill material temperatures during fill placement. <br />Average temperatures were above 32°F.All construction materials placed were verified as <br />suitable, and construction methods were in accordance with project technical specifications.** <br />A)VLF (Phase 1 and 2) <br />Structural Fill: <br />The following Structural Fill haul to fill and grading activities occurred: <br />Cat dozers placed cut-to-fill on slopes in the vicinity of station M2+00 to M4+00, K7+00 to <br />K11+00, S24+00 to M11+00, M20+00 to M22+00 and I13+00 to I15+00. <br />A Cat dozer ripped a portion of the Phase 2 diversion channel between stations S3+00 to S4+00. <br />A Cat excavator loaded Cat 740 haul trucks with the cut material and it was hauled and placed as <br />Structural Fill between stations I18+0 to I21+00. <br />A Cat loader, a Cat dozer and Cat 740 haul trucks removed overburden from an area above <br />station 44+00 of the ADR Haul Road and it was hauled and placed as Structural Fill between <br />stations I14+0 to I17+00. <br />All of the above Structural Fill material was placed,compacted, and graded per the project plans <br />and specifications. <br />Days S M T W T F S <br />Work Shifts D D D D <br />D=Day Shift N=Night Shift W=Weather
