Deacon / Jeffway temporary diversion <br />had been completed. The ash disposal area was observed and no issues were noted. Overburden removal are <br />progressing east of the active pit. <br />Additional updates at the mine include: <br /> All required permit boundary markers have been placed in east expansion area. <br /> Old blasting building has been removed. The building was no longer in use and replaced by a new <br />building which was a part of TR 115. <br /> The ash disposal area was observed, no standing water was present, and no issues were noted. <br /> <br />ROADS – Rule 4.03 <br />Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3) Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) <br />Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) <br />Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />Roads were in good condition at the time of inspection <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br />A drill pad at the east end of mine has been reclaimed. Topsoil has been placed in former K-pit and upper Oak <br />drainage and check dams are in place (photos below). <br /> <br />TOPSOIL – Rule 4.06 <br />Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; Redistribution 4.06.4: <br /> <br />Previously active topsoil piles need to be protected going into winter and spring months.
