Flow was estimated to be less than 0.1 on the staff guage. <br />Vegetation at the upstream throat of the flume needs to be cleared in the spring. <br /> <br />Drainage 006-Gulch had thin snow covered but appears in good condition. No concerns were identified in the <br />006-Gulch, 006-E1 and 006-E2 drainage areas. <br /> <br />ROADS – Rule 4.03 <br />Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3) <br />Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) <br />Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) <br />Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br /> Roads are not maintained or plowed in the winter as water monitoring is the only required access in the <br />winter months. The main access road to the warehouse, and Access Road A were drivable. Beyond the <br />intersection of Access road A and Access road J, the road was beginning to get soft, and snow cover increasing. <br />The inspection did not proceed south of this intersection. Access road G was drivable to the ridgeline. No <br />concerns were noted with these access roads. <br /> <br />SLIDES and DAMAGE - Rule 4.12: <br /> SP has received an engineering study from their consultant regarding mitigation efforts for the South of <br />Pond 6 slump. Initial read of the consultants’ recommendations would indicate that a technical revision would be <br />needed. SP has not submitted a TR for this activity. With winter months settling in, recommended mitigation <br />measures may have to wait until Spring to allow for permitting activities, and safe access to the slump.
