Storm Water Management Plan (SWMP), September 2012 <br />GCC Energy – King Coal & King II Mines <br />11 <br /> <br />SECTION 5: INSPECTIONS AND MONITORING <br />5.1 Facility Inspections <br />5.1.1 Inspection Team <br />The names of the persons responsible for inspections are: <br /> <br />Person Title Office Phone Cell Phone <br />Tom Bird Manager of Coal <br />Services <br />(970) 385-4528 <br />x 6503 (970) 769-1160 <br />Barbara Hodgson Environmental <br />Manager (719) 647-6829 (720) 231-0364 <br />5.1.2 Comprehensive Site Inspections <br /> <br />The King Coal and King II Mines will each be subjected to a comprehensive site <br />inspection twice per year; once in the spring and once in the fall. <br /> <br />The comprehensive site inspection will include documentation of inspection of all <br />areas of each facility, including material handling areas, disturbed areas, areas <br />used for material storage that are exposed to precipitation, and other potential <br />sources of pollution identified in Section 3.1 of this SWMP, as well as evidence <br />of, or the potential for, pollutants entering the drainage system. Structural <br />stormwater management measures, sediment and control measures, and other <br />structural pollution prevention measures identified in the plan shall be observed <br />to ensure that they are operating correctly. A visual inspection of equipment <br />needed to implement the plan, such as spill response equipment, shall be made. <br /> <br />Copies of all comprehensive site inspection reports completed for the facility are <br />included in the SWMP records. A template for the comprehensive site inspection <br />form is included in Appendix B. <br /> <br />5.1.3 Comprehensive Site Inspection Annual Reporting <br /> <br />The results of both comprehensive site inspections will be reported to CDPHE <br />annually.
