This proposal was reviewed during a DRMS inspection with <br /> Tim Cazier on November 22, 2016 and it was agreed that it is sufficient for closure purposes. <br /> Background <br /> The mining of the North Cresson Globe Hill Pit, approved in Amendment 10 and further <br /> proposed in Amendment 11 per a new pit design, is planned to commence in Q1 2017. The tree <br /> and topsoil removal of the eastern portion began in November 2016 in preparation for building <br /> of the permitted visual/sound berm and completing road infrastructure. A series of stormwater <br /> controls was designed and permitted in Amendment 10, however, it was identified that <br /> Enhanced Management Practice (EMP) 22 would no longer be functional due to pit design <br /> change proposed in Amendment 11. <br /> DRMS's Amendment 11 and Amended Amendment 11 Adequacy Review Comment number 56 <br /> on July 13, 2016 is as follows: <br /> 56. Appendix 10, Revised Globe Hill Mine Perimeter <br /> • As alluded to in Comment No. 39b above, the proposed Globe Hill Mine pit interception <br /> of Poverty Gulch is potentially problematic. Plan views 1 through 13 on Drawing <br /> CCVSA11-10 include a callout for a "Bypass Pipeline", which is unacceptable for <br /> reclamation/closure design. Furthermore, the last bullet on p. 10 (Appendix 10) states <br />
