I, Jared Ebert of the Colorado Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety conducted the <br />inspection. The weather was clear and sunny during the inspection. Mr. Brian Watterson with TC accompanied <br />me during most of the inspection and Ms. Miranda Blomquist with TC accompanied me during the inspection of <br />several of the Wolf Creek Reserve Coreholes discussed in the body of this report. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; <br />Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.0 5.13; <br />Drainage – Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />The Fish Creek Tipple pond was holding water and discharging. The pond embankment was stable and vegetated <br />and the primary and emergency spillway was clear and functional. <br /> <br />The 6MN Reservoir was holding water but was not discharging. The embankment was stable and vegetated and <br />the emergency spillway was clear and functional. The northern diversion ditch was stable. <br /> <br />The 6MN Vent. Shaft sediment pond was holding water but was not discharging. The embankment was stable and <br />the primary and emergency spillway was clear and functional. <br /> <br />Site 115 at the Fish Creek Borehole site was not discharging. <br /> <br />The 18LT ponds were dry and not discharging. T he embankments were stable and vegetated and the primary <br />spillways appeared to be clear and functional. <br /> <br />Pond G was holding water but was not discharging. The embankment was stable and vegetated. The primary and <br />emergency spillways were clear and functional. <br /> <br />Pond F was holding a small amount of water but was not discharging. The primary and emergency spillway was <br />clear and functional. <br /> <br />Pond E was holding water but was not discharging. TC has hired a contractor to excavate the sediment that has <br />built up within the upper cell of the pond. The sediment consists of primarily coal fines from the adjacent coal <br />stockpile. TC was hauling the coal fines back to the coal stockpile to be wash and re -processed.
