Miranda Blomquist of Seneca Property, <br />LLC (SPL) accompanied the inspectin and represented the operator. The weather was cool in the morning, with <br />fog in the valleys, burning off and warming off inthe later morning and afternoon. There had been scattered rain <br />showers the previous day, 10/25, but the mine site was dry. The mine is a reclaimed surface mine. No mine <br />personnel remain on the mine site. Mine personnel and mine records are located at the Foidel Creek Mine, located <br />in the vicinity. <br /> <br />Hunting season is active. Although Peabody has not allowed hnting on the Peabody property, one of the <br />landowners had alloed hunting on their property. <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS – Rule 5.02.4(1): <br /> Records are stored at the Foidel Creek Mine, located at 29515 Routt County Road No. 27, Oak Creek, CO. <br />Most of the records were up to date. Several items were noted on the “Availability of Records” form at the back <br />of this report. <br /> <br />The Division was unable to locate Ground Water sampling information for 2016. This information needs to be <br />available in the records. Spring sampling lab results should be available. Fall sample data results may not be back <br />from the lab yet, however, documentation of date that sampling was conducted, and which sites were sampled <br />should be available. <br /> <br />FISH and WILDLIFE – Rule 4.18: <br /> No cattle were observed on the site during the inspection. No elk or deer were seen on the property either. <br />The operator is not allowing hunting on their property. One landowner is allowing hunting, though no hunters <br />were observed on the property during the inspection. Two campers were parked at the warehouse area. A hunting <br />camp was set up along the access road to Pond 9. <br /> There is a temporary blind at the western ridge near PM-4-A drainage. <br />
